Can a bet really run from August to May?

Yes. You choose when calls lock and leave the bet open until the final day. Every bet shows its own expiry date on its page, and if nobody has confirmed a result by then, wagers are refunded. Setting up a bet

Where does the money sit for nine months?

Funds are held in secure, non-custodial wallets on Solana. The Poll team cannot access or move your money. Is my money safe and what USDC is

Who decides where a club finished?

Everyone who wagered can vote and the majority decides, or the person who created the bet confirms it. You pick which one when you set the bet up. How voting works and what happens in a dispute

Can someone join after the season starts?

Only up to the deadline you set. Most groups lock calls before the opening weekend so nobody backs a club after seeing it play. Inviting friends

Is this one big table bet or several?

Several. Each call is its own bet with its own cash pot and its own link, so a friend can back the title race and skip the relegation calls. Private and public bets

What if the group never agrees in May?

A tied vote refunds every wager in full with no fee. Ties and cancellations

What does it cost?

Deposits are free. Poll takes a small percentage of winning payouts only, and refunded or tied bets carry no fee. Withdrawals cost $1 to $2. Fees in full, plus adding funds and withdrawing

How is this different from a matchweek sweepstake?

A sweepstake runs a fresh bet on each fixture every week. This runs once a year on where clubs finish, so you set it up in August and forget about it until May. Run a matchweek sweepstake instead
