Fantasy football punishment bets
The last-place stake nobody has to chase.
Your league backs who finishes bottom. The cash sits onchain from draft day and pays out when the group confirms the result.
No league sync. The cash is held onchain, not the forfeit.

Week 12
The bottom of the table is the whole game.
Three teams are still in it. Each one is a separate Poll bet with its own question and its own held pot.
Will the Sunday Scaries finish last in the regular season?
Demo data. Poll does not read fantasy standings, so your league confirms the result.
Draft day
Everyone stakes when they join. Nobody chases anyone.
The money goes in at the start, not in December. Every stake sits in non-custodial wallets until the result is confirmed, so the commissioner stops being a debt collector.

The league rules
Agree it once, before anyone is losing.
The question, the close time, and the result method are fixed when the bet is created. Nobody renegotiates in Week 13.
Leagues that want more than one question can run weekly side pots too, each as its own bet.

The league's own forfeit, written down
Last place hosts next year's draft, buys the food, and lets the league pick their team name for a season.
The cash stake sits onchain. The forfeit is between you and your league. Poll does not agree it, track it, or enforce it.
Setup
Four steps, once a season.
The whole thing is one bet. See how bets are created for the full set of options.
Name the contender.
Write one question about the team you think finishes bottom.
Set the stake and the close time.
Everyone who joins puts in the same amount, and the bet locks at the time you choose.
Send the private link to the league chat.
League mates open the bet, pick a side, and their stake goes in with everyone else's.
Confirm last place when the regular season ends.
The group votes, or the creator confirms it, depending on what you chose at the start.
Payout day
When the regular season ends, the group confirms it.
Choose the result method when you create the bet. Poll settles the held pot from the result your league confirms, and the payout happens on Solana.
More on how friends settle bets together.
Group vote
League mates vote on the result once the regular-season standings are final.
Commissioner confirms
The person who created the bet checks the final table and confirms the winning side.
Settled on Solana
Wagers are held and paid out by Poll's deployed Solana program, and every settled bet leaves a public transaction you can look up.

Before you start
Last-place bet questions, answered.
Where the stake sits, who settles it, and where the forfeit stops being Poll's business. More in Poll's help centre.
Does Poll connect to ESPN, Yahoo, or Sleeper?
No. Poll does not import teams, standings, or scores from any fantasy platform. You write the question yourself and your league confirms the result.
What stops someone refusing to pay in December?
Everyone puts their stake in when they join the bet, not at the end. The stake sits in non-custodial wallets on Solana until the result is confirmed, so there is nothing left to collect.
Who decides who finished last?
Your league does. Choose a group vote or creator resolution when you create the bet. Poll does not check fantasy standings.
Does Poll enforce the punishment?
No. Poll settles the cash stake only. The forfeit is a league tradition and Poll takes no part in agreeing, tracking, or enforcing it.
Can we keep the bet inside our league?
Yes. Make the bet private and share its invite link with your league mates. Private bets are not listed publicly.
Can we run more than one last-place bet?
Yes. Create a separate bet for each team still in the race so every question has its own terms, its own pot, and its own result.
Why does the page say cash?
Cash is the simple label for the stake. The underlying balance and settlement asset in Poll wallets is USDC on Solana.
Is Poll affiliated with a fantasy football platform?
No. This page shows one way to use Poll and is not affiliated with or endorsed by ESPN, Yahoo, Sleeper, the NFL, or any other fantasy provider.
