What BetU did better
While it ran, BetU was easier to start with than Poll for a mainstream US user. Deposits went through Apple Pay or a card with no wallet to set up, settlement was automated with no group vote to coordinate, and it carried proper sportsbook markets rather than user-written questions. It also had a real social layer with a feed and group chat.
If BetU comes back
You cannot pick it today, because there is no installable app. If BetU returns and you want card-funded sportsbook markets against friends rather than free-form questions, it would be worth another look.
